North Market

A little North Market background info for you - This gem has been in open Columbus since 1876 and is located right outside of an old train station! In the summer they have even more shops pop up outside and the small area floods with locals and visitors on the weekends.

I've been here a few different times since moving to Columbus and every time I feel like there is something new for me to see! There are a handful of bakeries and food places from *so* many different cultures, a butchers shop, Jeni's Ice Cream, and some other shops that just sell goodies. My two favorite shops (not including the amazing food) - Market Blooms Fresh Flowers + North Market Spices LTD.

The first one, Market Blooms Fresh Flowers, sells the obvious, flowers, and a ton of handmade cards that are perfect for any friend, family member or foe.

The second shop, North Market Spices LTD., sells a plethora of any spice imaginable. Sweet or savory, any culture, single or in mixtures - you will find that spice there. In little packets or bigger jars, they're sold individually and reasonable cheap. Things like dehydrated lemon peel or Indonesia cinnamon, they have it. Seriously amazing, or maybe it just is to me because I like to cook.

The vibes this place gives off is just amazing. Even with all of the commotion, it is so relaxing. At the same time, I am the youngest of six so to me chaos is relaxing :-)

I really hope that if you're ever in Columbus you stop in! Click the button below to subscribe to my posts and updates!
